SERIAL TO ETHERNET CONVERTERS
Do you need to connect your equipment with a serial port (RS232, RS422, RS485) to Ethernet / Internet?
You can use our powerfull, flexible and inexpensive converter to be able to connect to your serial equipment either local o remotely.

Three different application forms.
Add Virtual Ports
In addition to the serial ports COM1 and COM2 your Computer has, you can add what is called as virtual port, which are ports COM3, COM4......COMN (up to 254), that can be located near your PC or anywhere in the world.
You acces your equipments, no matter where they are located (for example China Or in Australia), You will be able to connect to them, simply selecting the corresponding serial port.
Create an XServer
You can develop your own TCP/IP application program on your PC and access all types of ethernet inputs and outputs either local o remotely.
We have a lot of mini modules that can be mounted on our converters to enable I/O control trough ethernet or internet.
Server
Using Internet Explorer, Mozilla or any popular web browser you can acces any equipment with RS232, RS422 or RS485 port, trough the serial ports of our converter, no matter the location of the equipment as long as it has Ethernet/Internet connection.
The connection is completely TRANSPARENT for the equipment.
The steps to program you serial to ethernet converter.
1- Install the software we provide.
2- Connect your PC to the serial ethernet converter trough the RS232 port
3- Asign an IP, download the software or program the parameters of the serial com ports.
4- Take the serial to ethernet converter to your equipment.
5- Connect to that equipment with your regular software by selecting the proper communication port.
